TLC: Holiday Craft Day (November 18, 2025)

Friends, neighbors, moms, and daughters gathered around tables on a perfect fall afternoon to craft and laugh together. Volunteers (Annemarie Humm, Anne Flint, and Tana Adams) joined Fellowship Staff in leading the group through four different crafts.

Participants left the day with their hearts full of joy and their hands full of ornaments. They made soup spoon snowmen, paper stars, German bells, and ceramic ornaments to adorn their trees at home. The conference center welcomed them with a small fire, the smell of freshly brewed coffee, and the quiet tones of acoustic holiday music coming from the speaker.

It was a peaceful afternoon of messy hands and meditative paper folding. Laughter and smiles were quick to join the day as participants were amazed to see their crafts come together from the simple instructions. A group left saying, “I am so glad we did this! We should find a way to do something like this every month.” And that is the hope of The Learning Current!

While it isn’t always crafting, we hope to offer more craft days soon. Every month, TLC offers the community an opportunity to gather. With lectures, hands-on learning, and informed conversations, TLC offers everyone the chance to find a place at Fellowship Camp and Conference Center. Every first Tuesday of the month at 10:30 AM, we gather in the conference center for a shared learning experience, followed by lunch. TLC aims to offer at least one other chance to gather at camp each month, in addition to our Tuesday morning gathering. We hope to see you and your neighbors at camp soon!
