TLC - Black History Month Presentation

In Celebration of National Black History Month, please join us to hear Dr. Kendra Hamilton, Associate Professor and Director of Southern Studies at Presbyterian College, deliver a program on the inspiration in Charleston for the novel "Porgy" written by DuBose Heyward in 1925, and later, the play “Porgy & Bess”. In the 100 years since the story was written, it has greatly impacted Black Culture in SC and beyond. The title of the program is, "One Hundred Years of Summertime"
